The preliminary results suggest that the oxidative polymerization process could be improved
to yield polythiophenes with higher regioregularity degree and narrower molar mass distributions by just setting some reaction conditions. We also verified that it is possible to solvent extract part of the lower regioregular fraction of the polymer MI-503 nmr further improving the regioregularity degree. “The relationship between the composition and the kesterite crystal structure of Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) thin films was investigated. CZTS thin films with three different compositions were produced by sulfurizing the precursors in 5 vol. % H2S balanced with N-2. We measured the x-ray diffraction patterns of the CZTS powders scraped away from the
CZTS thin films using the synchrotron radiation. The site occupancy of the CZTS thin films that had respectively different compositions were determined by the Rietveld analysis using x-ray powder diffraction patterns. Zn substitutes for Cu at the 2a site with 3-deazaneplanocin A purchase decreasing the value of composition ratio Cu/(Zn+Sn). Meanwhile, Cu substitutes for Sn at the 2b site with increasing the value of Cu/(Zn+Sn). The CZTS thin film with Cu/(Zn+Sn) = 0.8 especially shows a marked tendency that Cu substitutes for Zn at the 2d site and/or Zn substitutes for Cu at the 2c site compared to the CZTS thin films with Cu/(Zn+Sn) = 1.0 and 1.2. We suppose
that it is very important to realize the high performance of the photovoltaic generation that CZTS thin films have kesterite crystal structure substituted for Zn at the 2d by Cu and/or substituted for Cu at the 2c site by Zn. (c) 2011 American Institute of Physics. [doi: 10.1063/1.3642993]“
“Brucellosis produces a variety of nonspecific hematologic abnormalities. Hematologic complications of mild anemia and leukopenia have been frequently associated with acute brucellosis, but pancytopenia is less frequently seen. In this study, records of children with brucellosis aged check details under or equal to 16 years, admitted to Yuzuncu Yil University Hospital between 2004 and 2010, were analyzed retrospectively. Over this time period, 187 patients with brucellosis were diagnosed. Twenty-five (13.3%%) of 187 patients had pancytopenia during admission to hospital. The diagnosis of brucellosis was confirmed by standard tube agglutination test in all patients; titers were 1:320 in 1 patient and 1:1280 in 24 patients. Blood culture was positive for Brucella melitensis in 3 patients (12%%). Fever was the most common manifestation, followed by malaise, anorexia, sweating, and weight loss. Fever and splenomegaly were the common signs in most patients. In addition, arthritis was observed in 5 patients, and epistaxis, headache, and abdominal pain were observed in 3 patients.
